Hello! Welcome to the Gîte de Garineaud Frontenac
My husband, Frédéric, started more than 20 years ago with about ten hives. More than an activity, a passion for bees means that today, in addition to his job as a pastry chef, he owns more than a hundred hives spread over two departments.
The honey is produced locally, sold wholesale, retail and also supplies the pastry shop for which he works.
Our hives are nearby but not accessible for security reasons.
Our honey house located a few kilometers away is our center for manufacturing and assembling the different honeys harvested.

A bit of history
Following a land search, we fell in love with this barn which we transformed into what it is today. We bought this building in 2019, carried out work for four years, created an extension which is now the main room, redid the roof in its entirety, and chipped the stone from top to bottom in order to restore the material to its full presence.
We opted for exposed beams that give the rooms all their charm. The choice of furniture remained neutral, refined while guaranteeing functional equipment that blended into the decor. In order to complete this adventure, we have set up our hives in the land bordering the property because we produce our own honey from different flowers.
